About Our Clubhouse:
We currently have a director, 2 full time staff and 1 part time staff. Our clubhouse operates as one unit. Lexington Clubhouse offers a variety of skills one might find in any typical office setting; record keeping such as tracking of daily attendance records, calculating of daily statistics, collaborating on the newsletter and numerous other clerical tasks. Members become knowledgeable on phone etiquette, computers, fax machines, copiers, letter writing, banking and, how to interact with others in a work setting.
Members also learn how to create a menu, prepare daily meals, food safety, how to shop for groceries/prepare a list, budgeting for food etc., and the proper use of kitchen equipment. Members will also have the opportunity to utilize a cash register, produce receipts, stocking and tracking of items in a snack bar.
Lexington Clubhouse is funded by managed care through Community Care Behavioral Health and the Blair County Department of Human Services.
